How long after I order is my order sent out?

The process depends on how quickly the emailed proof is approved.
A proof will be sent to the email provided in account registration within 3-4 business days. If approved quickly, the order will print and ship a few business days. If the proof is not acknowledged or revised within 5 business days, the order is considered approved, printed and shipped.
Please review order for grammar and spelling errors before submitting. Personalized products are not returnable. By checking the text approval box at time or order, you agree to the terms above and this will serve as final approval if proof is unacknowledged.
How long before I receive my order?

From time of proof approval, your order will ship within 5 business days. Ground shipping will take 1-5 additional business days. (Shipping time varies on location.) If desired, you may choose to expedite shipping during checkout.
Rush printing will shorten the processing time to 2-3 business days for a $25 charge.
What kind of paper are the products printed on?

Paper Maven invitations and notes are printed on our high quality digital presses.
Typestyles and ink colors are chosen by the manufacturers and only available as shown.
Envelopes can be printed with return address in coordinating font and color for an additional fee.Invitation paper stock is 110 lb. creamy white, matte cover stock with felt finish

How many extra invitations or announcements should I order?

Images uploaded to Paper Maven for use on product are the sole responsibility of the customer. Images must meet the high resolution quality requirements. By uploading images to Paper Maven, purchaser agrees to hold harmless Paper Mavens for all costs, expenses, attorney’s fees or judgments resulting from any claims or lawsuit made against Paper Mavens for any grounds claiming that the product produced violates any copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.

How secure is Paper Mavens?

Our site is protected by GeoTrust, a web server certificate which enables up to 256-bit encryption. Your information and transactions cannot be viewed, intercepted or altered. This SSL (secure socket layer) protocol is the web standard for encrypting communications between users and web sites, providing both consumers and businesses with the confidence that private data sent to a website is secure. All credit card transactions are securely handled off-site. Paper Mavens does not store your credit card information.
How do I check the status of my order?

You will receive an email confirmation when we receive your order. You will be also issued a digital proof (for all personalized products) via email. A shipping confirmation will be sent after your order has been sent. Check the status of your order in "My Account" under Order History at any time.
Can you rush my order?

Answer:
Yes, we can rush your order for a $25 fee per item (not including shipping). Please note that this only expedites the processing time of your order in house, and does not guarantee a delivery date. Shipping must be upgraded in addition to the rush fee in order to shorten shipping times. Proofs not acknowledged after 1 full business day will proceed to printing without approval.
Do you offer a digital proof?

Yes, we provide a digital proof (emailed to you) on all personalized orders for free. Your proof will be sent to you within 3-4 business days. Upon receipt, please approve your proof immediately. For each day your approval is delayed, including any change requests, the delivery date of your order will be extended by the same number of days. Please note that we will proceed with your order and consider it approved if there is no acknowledgement of the proof (either change or approval) after 5 business days.
What is your return policy?

Due to the personalized nature of our products, we cannot accept returns based on customer input errors (e.g., typos, layout) left uncorrected after digital proof is sent. Once approved, the order will print quickly. Further change requests made after approval are unlikely to be possible.
We inspect each shipment for quality control prior to shipping and assure quality of our products. The specific color of the product as viewed in digital proofs may be altered by monitor settings on your computer screen and are sometimes inaccurate representations of the final product. Color concerns are not grounds for return or refund unless it is representative of printing damage.
We deeply regret any errors made by Paper Mavens. We will remedy the error as quickly as possible. Once notified, we will reprint your order and expedite shipping to 2-day air or offer you a refund/merchandise credit. If you select a full refund, we will ask that you please return the order in its original form and packaging. We will issue a refund as soon as we receive the shipment. We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet these conditions. For damages made to the product in shipment, please save your product and the shipment container for inspection by our carrier.
What do I need to know before submitting a photo?

Answer:
Remember that the quality of the finished product will greatly depend on the quality of your photograph and for many designs your photo will be cropped for best appearance. A photo surcharge of $7 is applied to all photo product orders which allows us to test your photo for quality control and allows us to make any needed photo enhancements.
Photo Specs
Please submit a high-quality digital file, such as one taken with a digital camera set to a mid-high level photo quality. Images must be in the .jpg format. Dimensions of the photo should be no smaller than 5.25" x 3.5" at 300 dpi or higher, or 1575 by 1050 pixels at 72 dpi. The photo size should be larger than the final printed size. Please note that all Paper Mavens vendors reserve the right to reject a photo for quality or copyright concerns. If you are unsure about the quality or resolution of your photo, consider where it came from: many emailed photos are low quality as are ones copied from facebook and online photo storage sites, like Snapfish.
Permission Statement
Photo submission implies that you either own your image or that you have permission from the copyright holder or owner to reproduce the image, and that reproduction will not violate the rights of any other person. Paper Mavens nor its manufacturers will be held legally liable for photo-related ownership disputes.
Photo Enhancement
Paper Mavens is happy to enhance your photo—such as turning your color photo into black and white, turning it into a sepia tone or taking red-eye out. Please clearly communicate your photo changes in the NOTES field before the product is added to the shopping cart.
